Accessibility
Accessibility is a key objective for the Enchanted Gardens Light Trail and we do all we can to make sure that the route is accessible for all. On Monday 11th December, we will be running an accessible ‘quiet night’, for those who want to avoid the crowds with the lights and music toned down.
Wheelchairs & Mobility Scooters
The paths through the light trail will be accessible to wheelchair users. However, Whilst every effort is made to make the trail fully accessible, by its very nature it will on occasion cover some difficult terrain with a number of varying gradients.
Neurodivergent Visitors
The evening of Monday 11th December has been designated as being particularly suitable for the neurodiverse and those with special needs. This evening will be less crowded and therefore generally quieter. The volume in any areas featuring music and sound effects will be lowered, and any flashing lighting effects will be switched off or reduced in intensity.
The accessible evening can be booked through the usual ticketing calendar.
Blue Badge Parking:
For Blue Badge parking, Lethbridge Primary School have kindly offered their car park to be used during the hours of the event. Please note that spaces are limited and cannot be reserved in advance. The trail can be reached by following the path down the side of the school playground and following Quarry Road to the left.
Mobiloo
During the accessible evening on Monday 11th December, we will have a Mobiloo on site – the mobile toilet with hoist and changing table. Please bring your own sling if you wish to use the hoist- www.mobiloo.org.uk
