Other Venues
South Swindon Parish Council manage 2 other heritage parks, GWR Park and Queen’s Park. These venues offer a different experience than the Town Gardens. Both parks are in central locations in Swindon, GWR Park is perfect for larger events and Queen’s Park is a more intimate setting, almost a miniature Town Gardens.
GWR Park
GWR Park is great for larger events that require a vast open space. Example of previous events include the Mela Festival, the Nepali Festival, Armed Forces Day event and Swindon’s Oktoberfest.
Near to the Town Centre and Swindon’s train station this park presents great transport links.
Queens Park
Great for smaller events in a beautiful ornamental setting. Examples of previous events and private bookings include Park Yoga, brass band concerts, children’s events and other community events.
